Herb Seeds: Chinese Celery
Chinese Celery, also known as daun sup, is a variety of celery that has edible flavorful stalks that are thinner than regular celery. It is commonly used in soups and salads, as the cooking time will release all the flavour in its thin stalks and leaves.
Trim off at the base of the stem when 1-15cm high. New stalks will continue to form; you can also harvest the whole plant.
If left to grow without harvesting, the plant will product an umbrella shaped flower with tiny white florets. The white petals will fall off and form seeds. You can wait for them to dry and brown for a new planting season.
