Also known as daikon or mooli, this vegetable is originally native to Asia. It is an annual root crop that is both heat and moisture tolerant.

To makan, radish is the main star in "Char Tow Kway'. It is super versatile and cake be cooked in any way carrots can. Its green tops flavor soup stocks very well.

Harvest as soon as the root is mature by pulling gentle on the base of the leaves.
