Leafy Seeds: Malabar Spinach

Easy-growing and soft-stemmed, this perennial climbs on trellises. It is packed with nutrients with fleshy leaves, and the red variety has a red stem.

Leaves are heart-shaped with a slimy texture, and it is commonly used in soups and stir-fries. Leaves can be harvested once they are 2-3 inches in size. Plant will continue to grow after.
