An annual bush with edible flower petals and leaves that have a tangy sour taste. Young leaves can be eaten raw in salads or curries. The 'petals' of the fruit can be used in jams, curries, pickles, syrups or teas.
Harvest leaves young, while fruit is ready to pick about 3 weeks after flowering.
